Working with pioneers of the European automotive industry, he created a vehicle that effortlessly fused European sophistication with American reliability. The Momo Mirage, immediately enjoyed great success, gracing the cover of Road and Track magazine in December of 1971 and debuting to critical acclaim at the 1972 New York International Auto Show. Three short months after its debut, fate struck, production was quickly halted, and only two of the planned 150 cars were completed. Utilizing both historical and contemporary footage to tell Kalikow's story "The Mirage" offers viewers a rare insider glimpse into the world of automotive design.
