SynopsisTod Lubitch is born with a severe immune deficiency. In order to survive, he must live his entire life inside a completely germ-free environment. He is cut off from all forms of physical human contact, and can only venture outside with use of an enormous sterile plastic sphere. With the help of his loving parents, Johnny and Mickey, Tod slowly learns to accept his isolated and lonely existence...until the day he meets and falls in love with Gina Biggs, the girl next door.
